Burnsville, MN (PRWEB) October 08, 2013

HealthPostures announces the new TaskMate Go. The ergonomics desktop is designed to ease the burden on the muscular skeletal system as workers go from sitting to standing to help reduce workers skeletal pain. The desktop and accompanying monitor can be adjusted independently to allow for enhanced ergonomics.

Designed for American adults who struggle with back pain, the TaskMate Go aims to lower work related muscular skeletal problems and injuries. Heath Postures executive, Scott McDonald, said, “The TaskMate will attach to any desk and will adjust from a sitting to a standing position while allowing for plenty of workspace. Many employees and employers have since learned that switching from sitting to standing throughout the day has many benefits including physical alertness, increased productivity and staying fit while on the job.”

Sherri Dandurand, a payroll technician, tested the TaskMate Go for a few weeks. When asked why she decided to use a TaskMate Go, Sherri shared that, “I was having back and neck problems and needed a solution to just sitting all day at my desk. I needed to feel better, healthier and more productive on my job.”

Yet, it’s not enough to think that a product will offer advantages. Products have to deliver benefits. After testing the TaskMate Go, Sherri discovered that, “It has alleviated much of the stiffness I was having in my back (from my neck all the way down into my hips) from sitting all day. I feel more energized and alert, especially during the afternoon hours. I am able to go home after work and not feel tired and sluggish.”

She continues, “It has been a huge improvement in allowing changes and movement throughout my day. Even if I am only able to stand for 15-20 minutes at a time, it still improves my motivation and energy. It gives me the flexibility of being able to stand while doing my work.” Asked if she would recommend the ergonomic equipment to other workers, including her family and friends, Sherri offered, “I would most definitely recommend the TaskMate GO to others. Even if you dont have medical conditions from sitting all day, it is a great alternative to just sitting.”

Operationally, the ergonomic equipment clamps onto an existing desk surface, taking up no more than a desk corner. Computer monitors are mounted on the TaskMate Go and adjusted with a lever. While the 6300 model is designed for single monitor computers, the 6350 model works with dual monitors. Other ergonomic products Health Postures has designed to alleviate and eliminate back pain for adults include an Extra Swing A-Mouse, a Stance Move Seat, dual monitor arms and a TaskMate EZ Surface.
